BERNARDS TOWNSHIP, New Jersey, May 20, 2017 – The Bernards Township Democratic Committee (BTDC) was proud to participate in the town’s annual Charter Day festivities. The community met the BTDC with an overwhelming show of support after an absence in recent years. Charter Day attendees had the opportunity to meet several members of the committee including Chair Nancy D’Andrea and Vice Chair Gregory Begg as well as the Democratic candidates for this year’s township committee election, Sally Booth and Joan Harris.
“This was a beautiful day for the BTDC. There was a lot of interest and positive energy toward our group,” reflected Mrs. D’Andrea, “It was promising to hear the comments of support. Two that stick out are, ‘I thought I was the only Democrat in town,’ and ‘I finally have a voice.’”

I am always impressed and grateful for the wonderful people of this diverse community. It would be an honor to serve,” said Sally Booth. “I enjoyed meeting with members of our community and listening to their concerns and hopes for our town. Their warmth and enthusiasm was overwhelming, and it is what certainly makes Bernards Township a great place to live,” added Joan Harris.
