UPDATE: Civic Scholarship & Internship

The BTDC is proud to announce a $1500 Scholarship and 3-Week Summer Internship with Congressman Tom Malinowski at his District 7 Headquarters located in Somerville.

UPDATE: The internship will take place from July 27 through August 14. The selected student will be expected to provide her/his own mode of transportation to the office, and to fulfill the responsibilities of the role.

In light of the current global pandemic, if the environment has not stabilized enabling working in-person, the internship experience will be deferred until the following year. 

Ridge High School Rising and Current Seniors may apply. The deadline is April 30th, 2020. To view and submit an application, students should use or create an account on Naviance.

All information submitted will be held in confidence, and used solely for the purpose of scholarship administration.

Our 2019 Recipient

Last year’s recipient was Mason Krohn. Mason hopes to someday work in the state department. In the meantime, he is an exceptional student and volunteer in the community.
